Video Transcription
In this video tutorial, we will talk about how to set up related content or related assets within a given course. Note that this is very different than related product. So we have listed here. So related content or related asset refers to how you have a single product where when the user is inside that product, we will recommend other content within the same product the user should we recommend that they watch. This is perfect for a document repository where when I go into any particular asset, you will see that there is related content where we recommend things based on what they are watching currently. So in other words, let's say this is video A, video B, and video C. What we are saying is we recommend video B and video C given the fact that you're watching video A. This is very different from related courses under recommendation because related courses potentially are asking the user to purchase another product that they might be interested in. So the mechanics and the goal is very different. The related content is recommending things that user definitely have access to because it's within the same product. So just keep in mind this is the goal of the feature for related content and the way the related content works is depending on which piece of content the user click on, there's going to be a bottom section that says related content that is recommended they watch as a next step. Thank you.
Video Summary
This tutorial explains how to set up related content within a course, differentiating it from related product recommendations. Related content suggests additional materials within the same product that users already have access to, enhancing their experience. For instance, if a user views video A, the system may recommend videos B and C, all contained within the same product, unlike related courses which suggest purchasing different products. The feature populates a "related content" section, guiding users on subsequent materials to view, thereby optimizing their learning journey.
